Message from Director
The Center for Entrepreneurship Education (CEE) was launched at the former Tokyo Institute of Technology in April 2023. Our entrepreneurship education curriculum aims not only to guide students in pursuing entrepreneurship to be founders or practitioners in their future but also to cultivate talented individuals who can create new value in various organizations, including enterprises, universities, and international organizations. The curriculum focuses on developing essential mindsets and skills, such as leadership and international competencies.
In October 2024, Collaboration Center for Design and Manufacturing joined to already existed CEE sections, such as Leadership and Innovation Section, Global Education Section, and Career Development Section. Furthermore, Talent Ecosystem Office was established in April 2025. Together, these units will provide students with a wealth of attractive courses and programs. I hope that you will actively embrace the learning opportunities at CEE, explore your potential, and become pioneers of a new era.

The Five Elements of Science Tokyo’s Entrepreneurship Education
Foresight
The goal is to develop the ability to clearly envision a better future for society based on science and technology. We also aim to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and broaden students’ perspectives and options as they consider their own futures.
Global Competencies
Foster the ability to propose solutions to global issues based on an understanding of their core and personal significance, acquired through information gathering, analysis, and critical examination. Additionally, aim to cultivate the ability to deepen mutual understanding and collaborate with consideration for individuals with different cultural, customary, linguistic, or value backgrounds, or within group settings.
Leadership
Develop the mindset and skills to build consensus among different stakeholders by recognizing perception, respecting diversity, and expressing opinions based on one’s own values.
Value Creation
Develop the ability to create new value through repeated engagement in the problem-solving cycle, grounded in a deep understanding of the fundamental challenges in one’s field of expertise. This process enhances the likelihood of success and cultivates the ability to implement new value in the real world.
Career Development
You learn immediately applicable knowledge and skills for developing your future career after graduation, whether in industry or academia, leveraging what you learned in your specialized education. You also discover inspiring real-world role models from the work and careers of professionals in diverse fields.
