This year’s regatta also featured the 500-meter men’s coxed four for rookies, in which Science Tokyo’s crew performed well.

Comments from crew leader Yuta Morohashi

I believe this victory is the result of the entire crew’s joint efforts. We didn’t achieve the results we hoped for during practice, and I sometimes struggled with my role as crew leader. However, each member seriously thought about how to improve and took action to make the boat faster.

I am truly delighted that our efforts led to this outcome. I would like to express my warm gratitude to everyone who supported and cheered us on. We will not rest on our laurels but will continue to strive for even greater heights.
