Comments from crew leader Naoki Shiojiri

When we first started practicing, our boat felt unbalanced, and I was very anxious about whether we could row properly. Amid this uneasiness, fourth-year students who had already retired from the club coached us, and senior rowers acted as our practice opponents, allowing us to steadily improve our skills. We fell short of our goal of winning the championship and feel frustrated, but there is no point in being pessimistic. Instead, we want to keep improving our rowing times.

We will strive to continuously develop our practical skills in our studies, just as we do in our rowing.
