Credit card

Science Tokyo uses the payment services of PAYGENT Co., Ltd.

Usage instructions

  1. On the "Donation Application Input Screen," enter all the required information marked with an asterisk.
  2. Enter the card number and expiry date.
  3. Enter the credit card CVV number (security code).

Notes

  • Payments with certain credit cards cannot be processed.
  • Only the credit card holder can make a donation.
  • The payment must be made as a single payment.
  • Once the donation has been processed, it cannot be changed or canceled.
  • The donation will be transferred from the account associated with your credit card. Please check your credit card statement to find out when the transfer was completed. The payment will be displayed as 'Science Tokyo Fund' on your card statement.
  • If the transfer is not possible, we may contact you through your card company or through other channels.
  • There is a possibility that donations will not count towards bonus points issued by your credit card company. Please check with your credit card company for further information.

What is a security code?

The security code of your credit card is a 3-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card.
(For some cards, it is printed as a 4-digit number on the left or right side of the front of the card.)

The security code is a mechanism to prevent fraud when using a credit card on the internet.
As it is not displayed on the card usage statement, it enhances security.
The security code you enter will only be referenced to ensure the safety of this usage, and it will not be stored by Science Tokyo.
