During the visit, Science Tokyo Vice President for International Strategy and Engagement Nobuhiro Hayashi introduced to the delegations the cutting-edge research fields promoted by Science Tokyo, the joint programs conducted with other world-leading universities, and the Institute's international strategy, which puts a strong emphasis on student diversity.

Science Tokyo has established Institute-wide agreements with four Swedish universities, including KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and actively promotes student and researcher exchanges through dispatch and other programs. Hayashi and the visiting delegations exchanged views on strengthening international collaboration, including promoting exchanges among young researchers and joint research, particularly in the fields of environment and energy.
