Call for Applications: 2026 Practical Startup Creation Course "Innovation Teams"
The Center for Startup Education, established on July 1, 2026, is launching a new course designed to provide practical learning on how to commercialize laboratory research outcomes and implement them into society as startups.
Under the guidance of leading entrepreneurs and experts, students will work on developing actual business plans, fostering the ability to transform research achievements into social value. These experiences will serve as a significant asset for your future—whether you aspire to launch your own startup or pursue diverse career paths in corporations and research institutions.

Course Schedule
Starting from the fall semester of the 2026 academic year, new startup courses will be offered for graduate students.
Prior to the launch of our new course, "Innovation Teams," scheduled for the 3rd and 4th Quarters of the 2026 academic year, we will host an online briefing session (webinar) as outlined below.
Since the first information session in July, we have updated the content by adding introductions to the specific research outcomes to be addressed, additional faculty members, and course registration details. Whether you attended the first session or are joining us for the first time, we warmly invite you to attend!
This course is open to all graduate students (Master's, Doctoral, and Professional Degree Programs) across all campuses, regardless of whether your major is in Medicine and Dentistry or Science and Engineering.
We will offer sessions in Japanese (with English subtitles) as well as a dedicated session entirely in English. International students are most welcome and are highly encouraged to attend.
