What I liked best about Tokyo Tech
The location is very close to the train station, there is a very modern library, and there is a very beautiful view of Sakura (cherry blossoms).
Current activities and career
My current job is to work on environmental and climate change issues. My main duties are to lead team members in formulating and developing environmental legal frameworks. In particular my current priority is developing sub-regulatory documents under Environmental Protection Law.
How my studies at Tokyo Tech have contributed to my career
My modelling expertise is applied to my job; Laos also has a commitment to combat global warming. In order to contribute to the global goal under the Paris Agreement, countries that have ratified the Agreement need to develop long-term action plans. My expertise in decarbonization development modelling contributes to the analysis of the country's long-term scenarios.
Message to prospective students
Science Tokyo is one of the top Universities in Japan. The Institute is very advanced in technology research and development and contributes to a sustainable world.
