President of Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University Visits Science Tokyo

On September 4, President Meng-Ru Shen of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and his delegation visited Institute of Science Tokyo. The group had a discussion with President and Chief Executive Officer Naoto Ohtake, President and Chief Academic Officer Yujiro Tanaka, Executive Vice President for Global Affairs Tomohiro Morio, Vice President for Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Yoichi Oshima, Professor Kentaro Nakamura from Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology, Unit Leader / Specially Appointed Professor Takayuki Ohba from WOW Alliance Heterogeneous and Functional Integration Unit, and Executive Advisor and Professor Emeritus Kazuya Masu, President of former Tokyo Institute of Technology.

The following day, the delegation was divided into a medical team and a semiconductor team. Each team visited Yushima Campus and Suzukakedai Campus respectively and exchanged opinions through workshops.
