Message from the facilitator

Ideas are not just something you think of in your head. Your hands create something, your mind reacts to it, and then your hands move again. This repeated process stimulates your mind, giving birth to new ideas. This isn’t exclusive to designers. Regardless of whether you are good at drawing or not, ideas emerge once something is visualized in some way. In this workshop, we will foster psychological safety to generate ideas through interactive art appreciation. From there, participants will spontaneously identify problems and create prototypes on the spot. Additionally, by experimenting with different material functions, you will create a second, brand-new prototype.
Enjoy the shift and expansion of ideas that could never be born from just thinking alone. You’ll be devising improvement ideas for everyday items. Through fun activities like observation, group brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and combining materials, you can experience a variety of approaches to design and idea generation.
