Delegation from NRCT, NSTDA from Thailand visit Science Tokyo

On October 28, a delegation of 19 members including Prof. Dr. Wanchai De-eknamkul, Honored Expert of National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and Dr. Somboon Sahasithiwat, Executive Vice President of National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), visited Institute of Science Tokyo. They had a meeting with President and Chief Executive Officer Naoto Ohtake, Executive Vice President for Education Hidetoshi Sekiguchi and other members of Science Tokyo. During the visit, they also exchanged views on the new TAIST-Science Tokyo program, Biomedical Engineering and AI (tentative title), with Vice President for International Strategy and Engagement Nobuhiro Hayashi and others, and they also participated in a laboratory tour.
From October 30 to 31, the delegation exhibited at the Ota Research and Development Fair promoting TAIST-Science Tokyo. . Both former Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and former Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) had a long history of exchange with Thailand. These exchanges are expected to deepen further in the future.
