Rector of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University leads delegation to Science Tokyo

On June 24, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Verşan Kök, Rector of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University (TJU) in Turkey, and Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner, President of the Council of TJU, along with their delegation, visited Science Tokyo. They held discussion with President and Chief Executive Officer Naoto Ohtake, President and Chief Academic Officer Yujiro Tanaka, Executive Vice President for Global Affairs Jun-ichi Takada, Professor Hiroaki Yamanaka and Professor Masashi Matsuoka from School of Environment and Society. During the meeting, Science Tokyo introduced its graduate education programs and research and education initiatives in the field of earthquake engineering. TJU provided an update on the preparations for its establishment. Both parties engaged in a lively exchange of ideas.
