Distinguished Research Professor Morio and Professor Osakabe Named 2024 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers

On 19 November 2024, Clarivate Plc announced this year's list of Highly Cited Researchers, including Distinguished Research Professor Tomohiro Morio of Advanced Research Initiative and Professor Yuriko Osakabe of School of Life Science and Technology, Department of Life Science and Technology.

In addition, Professor Toshihiko Masui, Visiting Professor of School of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering and Economics, and Director of the Social Systems Division at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, was also named as a representative affiliated with our university.

Highly Cited Researchers is a list compiled by Clarivate Analytics, recognizing authors of the most frequently cited papers worldwide in each research field. Researchers whose papers rank in the top 1% by citations in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences, and cross-field are selected. This year, 6,636 researchers from 59 countries and regions were included.
