On October 1, Prof. Dr. Masahiko Hayashi, Director of JSPS Bonn Office in Germany, and his colleague visited Science Tokyo. During the visit, they reflected on past initiatives, exchanged information on various activities in Germany and Japan, and discussed potential future collaborations with Executive Vice President for Global Affairs Tomohiro Morio and Vice President for International Strategy and Engagement Nobuhiro Hayashi. Further, staff of the Science Tokyo ANNEX Aachen, which has a long-standing collaboration with the JSPS-affiliated alumni association in Germany (JSPS-Club) and has previously hosted JSPS events on the Ookayama campus, highlighted its commitment to fostering international scientific exchange. The visit also included a campus tour.
