Luxembourg’s Minister for Research, Higher Education, and Digitalization Visits Science Tokyo

On July 14, Stéphanie Obertin, Luxembourg’s Minister for Digitalization and Minister for Research and Higher Education, visited the Institute of Science Tokyo, accompanied by a distinguished delegation. The group included representatives from the Ministry of Digitalization, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the University of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, the Luxembourg Institute of Health, the Luxembourg National Research Fund, and the Luxembourg National Data Service.
The delegation was welcomed by Executive Vice President for Global Affairs Tomohiro Morio. During the meeting, Science Tokyo presented its Visionary Initiatives, highlighting its strategic goals and innovative research programs. A dynamic and productive exchange followed, with both parties exploring potential avenues for future collaboration in science, technology, and academia-industry collaboration. Also, the delegation visited and observed the research conducted by Professors Takayuki Iwasaki and Kei Sakaguchi at the School of Engineering.
