Research Development Center

Research Development Center provides support the planning of and promotes research strategies, thereby developing diverse research projects including global perspectives and bringing resilient researcher networks to develop the institute’s research such as convergence science, promoting the creation of sciences that will bring new value.
To achieve the aforementioned objectives, the department has raised five missions which are: to survey and analyze, such as science and technology information concerning policies and social trends; to promote support for the planning of research strategies; networking between domestic and overseas researchers; getting research funding such as pre-awards; and to provide support for public relations on research and for outreaching. Research administrators (URA) belonging to the department form teams as needed to conduct these duties.
