Center for Medical Innovation

The Medical Innovation Organization aims to contribute to people's health, welfare, and happiness by advancing medical care and realizing evidence-based healthcare through collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including cross-disciplinary co-creation and the industrial sector, starting from the medical field.

To achieve the aforementioned objectives, the Medical Innovation Organization has established five departments: the "Strategic Partnerships Office," which is responsible for planning, network building, and operations to promote medical innovation activities; the "HealthTech Design Office," which manages the Health Tech Design Program; the "Innovation Acceleration Office," which handles collaboration with companies, technology transfer, and startup support based on the medical field; the "M&D Data Platform Office," which promotes the utilization of medical data; Translational Research Office," which serves as a channel to clinical sites, including Science Tokyo University Hospital, and supports clinical development for the creation of new pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
