Center for Healthcare Education

The Center for Healthcare Education promotes the formulation and operation of common and collaborative medical, dental and nursing education that transcends specialization in order to produce highly specialized healthcare personnel.

The Center for Healthcare Education was established in October 2024 as an organization that promotes the formulation and operation of common and collaborative medical, dental and nursing education that transcends specialization in order to produce highly specialized healthcare personnel. The purpose of the organization is to develop and provide interprofessional collaborative education programs, develop and promote clinical simulation education, and formulate and operate cross-departmental education in healthcare personnel training education.

The organization is composed of the Academic Medicine & Dentistry Office, Clinical Simulation Office, and Administrative Support Office. The Healthcare Education Organization Steering Committee has established a close collaboration system with each faculty, department, and school.

The organization's mission is to practice the following.

  • Providing interprofessional collaborative education and education aimed at improving clinical skills
  • Supporting the formulation and implementation of a medical/dental integrated curriculum based on the medical/dental/nursing education model core curriculum in faculties and graduate schools
  • Providing cutting-edge clinical simulation education through the use of various medical/dental clinical simulators and simulated patients
  • Supporting the formulation and implementation of education that complies with the Global Accreditation for medical and dental education in collaboration with medical and dental faculties
  • Proposing and disseminating proposals for new medical education in the future
